A few months ago, I accidentally met a bunch of YouTubers in Tokyo. And I wanted to ask them if being a YouTuber is considered a job in Japan. Because I thought maybe some of my audience are interested in being a YouTuber in Japan and making a living on that, instead of working for a Japanese company or something like that.
In other countries, many people see it as a career, but I’m not sure in Japan.
※I’m so sorry, but I stupidly forgot asking them their YouTube channel names after interviewing at that time. So I cannot tell you their channel links. My apology for that..
By the way, I’m not sure I can call myself “YouTuber”, but it’s not my main job (I’m too scared to go full time on YouTuber) and I think the quality is still so low. Unlike other great YouTubers, I don’t think I have the right to call myself YouTuber.
So my question to you is that, what is “YouTuber” actually? I’m not sure.
Thanks for watching. Have a nice day.
